Salah satu bentuk kemeriahan diawali dengan lomba-lomba antar kelas yang diselenggarakan pada Hari Senin (12\/8) untuk siswa berkebutuhan khusus, Hari Selasa (13\/8) untuk siswa reguler, tabur bunga di taman makam pahlawan yang rencananya dilaksanakan pada Hari Sabtu (17\/8), dan mengikuti pawai baris berbaris di kecamatan pada Hari Sabtu (24\/8).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mata lomba yang dapat diikuti oleh siswa berkebutuhan khusus untuk jenjang kelas 1-3 lomba mewarnai; menyanyikan lagu anak; menyusun balok; dan jenjang kelas 4-6 lomba ketangkasan; menggambar; dan menyanyikan lagu nasional. Jenjang kelas 2 lomba estafet tiup gelas, menyanyi lagu daerah, dan melanjutkan gambar. Lomba menggambar, estafet sarung, dan cerdas cermat diperuntukkan bagi siswa jenjang kelas 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped estafet balap kardus, memindahkan gelas dengan balon, dan ranking 1 digelar untuk jenjang kelas 4. Jenjang kelas 5 mengikuti lomba menulis cerita kegiatan tujuh belas agustus di lingkungan masing-masing, mengumpulkan bola dengan corong, dan memindahkan bola dengan karet. Siswa di jenjang kelas 6 mengikuti lomba estafet air, estafet shanghai sumpit, dan Class of Champion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Muhammad Fajar; selaku ketua panitia Peringatan HUT Ke-79 Kemerdekaan RI menuturkan bahwa mata lomba sengaja digelar berbeda pada tiap jenjangnya, dengan mempertimbangkan usia dan kemampuan siswa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dirgahayu Ke-79 Republik Indonesia.
